The Community Hope Project
The Community Hope Project
The Community Hope Project (CommHopePro) was founded by Ayesha Abdul-Lateef and Shaneka Abdul-Lateef of HerAbdul Enterprises with a heart for service and a vision to create inclusive, uplifting programming for all members of the community.
CommHopePro’s foundation begins with Safe Space Saturdays—a joyful, engaging event featuring soft play and Zumba for children ages 3–10, held every 2nd Saturday. But it’s more than just play—it’s about building community, connection, and care. While children laugh and move in a secure, nurturing environment, parents are invited to gather, share experiences, and support one another in a safe and welcoming space.
This is just the beginning. Through CommHopePro, Ayesha and Shaneka are committed to creating programs that bring people together, foster joy, and build lasting hope for every generation.
United we Stand. Together we Shine.

Bring the kids and join us for Soft Play Saturdays—a free, fun, and safe space for children to move, laugh, and connect!
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, kids can enjoy soft play activities designed to spark joy and burn energy. Then from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, we turn up the music with Zumba for Kids—a high-energy dance party led by one of our experienced instructors.
This event is open to ages 3–10, and we encourage you to invite a friend and come build community together through movement and fun.
See you on the 2nd Saturday—where Saturdays are for safe spaces and smiles!
